I recommend Oxyfresh rinse/fluoride rinse and toothpaste. These products have stabilized chlorine dioxide to improve the health of your gums, the rinse also has fluoride to strengthen your teeth. I have also found that the Rota-dent toothbrush is a superior product and have seen excellent results with its constant use. The Rota-dent toothbrush can also be purchased in our office. Below I have listed some over the counter products that are readily available to you.

• OXYFRESH/OXYGENE TOOTHPASTE AND FLUORIDATED MOUTHRINSE

• GLY-OXIDE OR PEROXYL: (Peroxide in a gel like form for brushing). Apply to brush and massage into gums 1 time a day for the next 3-4 days, then use occasionally.
  
  
• JOHNSON AND JOHNSON ACT FLUORIDE RINSE: Use after each brushing.
  
  
• **BIOTENE: Toothpaste, mouthwash or chewing gum helps replenish and boost saliva's natural protection against destructive bacteria.
  
  
• SALT WATER RINSES: Mix 1 teaspoon salt into 8 ounces of warm water. Swish and rinse.
  
  
• TO STERILIZE TOOTHBRUSHES OR ROTA-DENT POINTS AND BRUSHES: Mix 1/4 teaspoon clorox into 8 ounces of warm water and soak for at least 30 minutes, then rinse well. This can be done as needed especially after colds or flu.
  
  
• TO STERILIZE DENTURES OR PARTIALS: Mix 1/4 teaspoon Clorox into 8 ounces of warm water and soak for at least 30 minutes, then rinse well. You can also use vinegar.
